Shipping & Returns Policy

DELIVERY WITHIN AUSTRALIA

Maximillia offers free shipping within Australia. We offer a 1-3 business day delivery service with Australia Post Express. Sale items may be subject to shipping delays, with shipping taking place within 1-5 business days after your order has been placed. 

A dispatch confirmation email displaying your unique tracking number will be sent for all orders so that you can track the progress of your delivery. The buyer accepts all responsibility for missing packages left by the courier.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

Maximillia charges a flat $25 postage fee for overseas orders with Australia Post Express International. International orders should be received within 5 business days of dispatch depending on your location. Sale items may be subject to shipping delays, with shipment taking place within 1-5 days after your order has been placed. The $25 postage fee does not include duties or taxes that may be applied by customs at the destination country. 

Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to pay for all additional duties and taxes if applicable. 

LOST OR DAMAGED GOODS

If your order is lost or damaged in transit, please Contact Us within 7 working days of placing your order so that we may assist you. 

RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

Maximillia want you to love and wear your pieces. Therefore, if you are not perfectly satisfied with your order, Maximillia will issue store credit or arrange an exchange for products purchased within 7 days of the delivery date. 

At this stage refunds are only offered in the case of faulty items. Change of mind returns are issued store credit or may be exchanged.

    We cannot refund, cancel or accept returns on pre-orders under any circumstance including in the case of late delivery. All delivery time frames are simply estimates provided to us by the individual manufacturers.


        To receive a store credit or exchange, please follow the below steps:

        • Submit a return or exchange request to Maximillia within 7 days of receiving your order. Please contact our Customer Care team via email at contact@maximillia.com
        • All customers will be contacted by the Customer Care team and sent an email confirmation once your return request has been processed and you will be provided with an RMA number.
        • Return your items in their original packaging and condition, along with the RMA and original receipt to:

          A member of the Customer Care team will be in touch upon receipt of the products to arrange your refund or exchange.

          GIFTS
          If the items were given to you as a gift, you may exchange them for items of equal or less value. Gift cards are valid for 3 years from the original purchase date. No returns or exchanges of gift cards for cash will be accepted.

           

          FAULTY ITEMS

          If the item that you purchased is faulty, please contact our Customer Care team.

          THE FINE PRINT

          Returns received outside of 14 days of delivery may be accepted at Maximillia's sole and absolute discretion.

          Returned items must be in their original condition - unworn, unwashed, unused and with all tags attached. Garments received soiled or with make-up marks will not be accepted for exchange or return and will be sent back to the customer.

          It is your responsibility to obtain proof that the goods have been returned, and to return the goods by registered post or by other such means or carrier of your choice, which gives proof of posting and delivery. All returns sent to Maximillia must have a valid tracking number. Maximillia will not be liable for items lost in transit.

          Where the items fail to be of acceptable quality, and the failure does not amount to a major failure, Maximillia is entitled to choose between providing you with a repair, replacement or other suitable solution. Exchange of items is subject to availability. Maximillia classifies items to be faulty (i.e. not acceptable quality) if they are received damaged. Items that are damaged as a result of wear are not considered to be faulty.

          Maximillia will issue a store credit within 10 business days of receipt of a return. The store credit will include the full value of the items returned, including the relevant taxes, but excluding shipping or return delivery costs.

          For international returns, Maximillia recommends indicating on the packaging that the items are intended ‘Returned Goods’ or ‘For Exchange’ to avoid additional custom duties and taxes. Please ensure adequate insurance is taken for the safe delivery of your order. All international customers are obliged to pay for their goods to be returned for a refund.

          The costs of returning items shall be the customer’s responsibility.

          Our Returns Policy includes the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law and provides you with additional benefits in addition to those rights.
